Description
The Certified Construction Manager (CCM) is someone who has voluntarily met the prescribed criteria of the CCM program with regard to formal education, field experience and demonstrated capability and understanding of the CM body of knowledge. In 1995, the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) established the Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI) to administer a program to certify individuals who meet a stringent set of criteria to assist owners with construction projects. The Certified Construction Manager (CCM) designation has become the preferred way to identify professional construction managers in the United States.

CMAA is leading the growth and acceptance of construction management as a professional discipline that can add significant value to the entire construction process, from conception to ongoing operation.

Membership in CMAA includes more than 4,000 firms and individuals. Owners, engineers, architects, contractors, educators, students…everyone with a stake in the construction industry’s success.
