<p><strong>Description</strong></p>
<p>This credential is designed to validate that the certified person possesses the professional expertise and knowledge required to successfully perform plant and facilities supervisor activities.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<p>There are two CPE Certification Categories. The first is the CPE category A. With this certification you are eligible if you have a minimum of four years in management in plant/facility engineering or six years in the field overall with a four-year degree in engineering, architecture or a related field.</p>
<p>If you do NOT have a degree you must have minimum of six years in management in plant/facility engineering or eight years in the field overall.</p>
<p>With the CPE Category B, You are eligible if you have a minimum of four years experience as a registered professional engineer. Category B applicants are exempt from the examination. A copy of your PE license is required with submission of your CPE B application.</p>
<p><strong>Fees</strong></p>
<p>$275 for AFE member and $460 for non-members. Testing fee: $45 per initial exam.</p>

<p>Globally preferred by employers, the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential denotes proven expertise in fraud prevention, detection, and deterrence. Members with the CFE credential experience professional growth and quickly position themselves as leaders in the global anti-fraud community. In fact, the ACFE&#8217;s 2008 Compensation Guide for Anti-Fraud Professionals reveals that CFEs earn 22% more than non-CFEs in similar jobs.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<p>1. Be an Associate member of the ACFE in good standing.  If you are not already an Associate member of the ACFE, you must first become a member to pursue the CFE credential.</p>
<p>2. Submit the CFE Exam application with proof of education and professional recommendations.</p>
<p>3. Pass the CFE Exam. The CFE Exam is a Windows-based program that tests your knowledge and expertise in the four primary areas of fraud examination: Fraudulent Financial Transactions, Legal Elements of Fraud, Investigation Methods, and Criminology and Ethics.</p>

<p>Certification is a voluntary process, which validates an individual&#8217;s qualifications in a specific field of professional practice. It demonstrates to employers, clients, and peers the individual&#8217;s knowledge and experience and signifies his or her commitment to continued excellence in professional practice. In addition, it increases visibility, builds credibility, and validates expertise with those outside the profession.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<p>The Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) [or Certified Human Factors Professional (CHFP)] is the designation for professional practice. The criteria for certification as a CPE [or CHFP] are:</p>
<ol>
<li>A master’s degree in human factors/ergonomics,            or an equivalent educational background in the life sciences, engineering sciences and behavioral            sciences to comprise a professional level of ergonomic education.</li>
<li>Three(3) years of full-time professional practice            in human factors/ergonomics.</li>
<li>A passing score on the CPE/CHFP written examination. There are two written examinations for BCPE certification, one for the CPE [CHFP] credential (AEP/AHFP candidates take part I of the CPE/CHFP written examination</li>
</ol>
<p>A person who has graduated from an <a href="http://bcpe.org/certinfo/certinfo.asp?i=7">accredited          IEA Federated Society human factors/ergonomics degree program</a> (e.g.,          a program accredited by the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society or the          Ergonomics Society) is not required to take Part I of the exam.</p>

<p>The Certified Quality Engineer is a professional who understands the principles of product and service quality evaluation and control. This body of knowledge and applied technologies include, but are not limited to, development and operation of quality control systems, application and analysis of testing and inspection procedures, the ability to use metrology and statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices, an understanding of human factors and motivation, facility with quality cost concepts and techniques, and the knowledge and ability to develop and administer management information systems and to audit quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<p>You must have eight years of on-the-job experience in one or more of the areas of the Certified Quality Engineer <a href="http://www.asq.org/certification/quality-engineer/bok.html">Body of Knowledge</a>.</p>
